Goal 1: Members and prospective members view MAND as essential to career advancement Goal 2: The public recognizes registered dietitian nutritionists as experts in food and nutrition Goal 3: Empower members to advocate for the health of Massachusetts residents

Provide and support innovative professional development and networking opportunities

Strategy 2

Provide a range of leadership and volunteer opportunities

Strategy 3

Recruit, engage, and maintain a diverse member base

Empower members to enhance the visibility of registered dietitian nutritionists to both the general public and other health professionals

Strategy 2

Equip members with skills in media platforms to make evidence based practices relatable to the public

Influence food and nutrition policies and programs

Provide opportunities for members to participate in the legislative process

Strategy 3

Establish and strengthen strategic partnership to further MAND and Academy initiatives

Approximately every three years, the MAND undertakes a comprehensive strategic planning process.
