Position Description:

The Dietitian is responsible for implementing the overall nutrition program for the Elder Service Plan (ESP) and assists the Dietitian Manager to ensure that the nutrition programs are in compliance with regulatory agencies and meals are in compliance with PACE and DPH requirements.

Duties include; providing guidance and advice to ESP participants and their families regarding nutrition; assists in overseeing the food services programs provided by the food vendors and actively participates in the interdisciplinary care teams (IDT).

Position is 24 hours week, schedule to be determined and includes home visits as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics, current MA RD license, 1 yr of experience providing nutrition counseling & assessments and working with a Geriatric population, excellent communication skills, Intermediate skills in Office 365.

Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred, must be able to successfully obtain Serve Safe certification within 3 months of employment.
