Speaker: Joanna W, Wong,PharmD, BCPS, MBA

Joanna Wong is a Pharmacotherapy Board Certified Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Veterans Health Administration Hospital in Bedford, MA. She has completed a hospital pharmacy residency at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington and a post-graduate year 2 (PGY2) residency in Dayton, Ohio specializing in ambulatory care, managed care, and academia. Joanna is involved in the implementation and enhancement of primary care clinical activities regarding disease state management including diabetes, pain, weight loss, advance liver disease, anticoagulation, renal and cardiac management of Veterans. She continues to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide health care practitioners and patients whole health education and population management. She serves on the Pharamcoeconomic Workgroup and Clinical Practice Pharmacy. Joanna is an active member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and serves on the continuing education committee of the Massachusetts Pharmacist Association.
