MAND DEI is presenting the last part of our three-parts speaker series. This event is partially funded by the academy’s diversity mini-grant 2020.


Event is free for Academy members. Donation is happily accepted in any amount, all proceeds toward Massachusetts Dietetics Education Foundation Scholarship fund including the newly created DEI scholarship of $1500 for one qualified applicant.

This section will look into the diverse food culture in Asian Americans. It will highlight certain health risks among Asian Americans.  Strategies in providing culturally tailored care for this population will be discussed.

For 2024, MDEF will be giving out two MDEF scholarships and one MDEF Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) scholarship to deserving nutrition students, each in the amount of $1500. Please pass along to any nutrition students or interns who may be eligible to apply!
