President
Jessica Seltz, Tufts University Master of Science/Dietetic Internship, Class of 2021. As President of the MSDA, I hope to create a community that supports and empowers students of all backgrounds to pursue a career in nutrition and dietetics and provides them with the resources they need to become future leading professionals.
Vice President
Kelly Siverhus, Tufts University Master of Science/Dietetic Internship, Class of 2021 As Vice President of the MSDA, I plan to provide nutrition and dietetics students with valuable opportunities, resources and a supportive community, that will enable them to reach their full potential as future professionals in the field.
Treasurer
Emily Burrows, Framingham State University BS- Dietetics, Class of Spring 2021. As Treasurer of the MSDA, I have aspirations to successfully manage the finances of the club and assist wherever possible to enable us to spread awareness of the field of Nutrition and Dietetics as being the most credible source of nutrition information. I hope to engage and network with others in the field to obtain valuable information that will broaden my scope of Dietetics while creating an environment that enables Nutrition & Dietetics students from all backgrounds to be successful within the profession.
Secretary
Brandy Moser, Boston University BS-Nutrition BA-Biochemistry, Class of Spring 2021. As secretary, I hope to network with others in the field of nutrition and dietetics to gain larger perspectives on the field. I also hope to learn and engage in the field’s evolution through these unprecedented times by connecting with others in creative ways.
Philanthropy Chair
Zoe Tabakin, Tufts University Master of Science/Dietetic Internship, Class of 2021. Through my role as Philanthropy Chair, my goal is to provide and encourage volunteer and funding opportunities that educate, inform, and inspire individuals to improve the health and well-being of our community.
Social Media & Marketing Chair
Lily Spik, Boston University BS-Dietetics, Class of Fall 2021. As Social Media & Marketing Chair, I hope to make the field more recognized by the general public, so when students think of careers in health, they consider dietetics, understand it’s specifics, and can differentiate it from other nutrition-related career paths.
Education/Diversity Chair
Leah Knizner, Tufts University MS/DI Class of 2021. As the Education/Diversity Chair, it is a goal of mine to bring awareness to the different racial and ethnic disparities that occur within the field of nutrition. I hope to organize educational opportunities for students to gain knowledge in areas of diversity in order to spread more awareness within the field and complement our current nutrition training.
