Position Description

Brockton Neighborhood Health Center is committed to Brockton and surrounding communities. BNHC is looking for Lead Dietitian to provide oversight and lead the growth of the collaborative nutrition program at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. In conjunction with a both a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team including BMC, Vicente’s Tropical Supermarket, and BAMSI; the Lead Dietician provides the strategy and vision to improve food access and address the issues of diet-related chronic disease with innovative programming by addressing issues of diabetes, obesity, and hypertension by helping patients select healthy food options in conjunction with medical interventions for the treatment of these diseases. The Lead Dietician works with all of BNHC’s sites seeing patients, teaching classes, and supervising the nutrition team.

Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who share our passion for and embrace the diversity of our patient population. Candidates must hold a BS Nutrition, be a Registered Dietitian, and be CPR/AED certification. A minimum 2 years community nutrition experience, an interest/experience in cooking and ServSafe Certification helpful.
