Position Description

A North Shore based nonprofit seeks an RDN with a strong Food is Medicine background to oversee our groundbreaking Medically Tailored Groceries Program and nutrition services in a diverse program environment. This position is responsible for the full oversight of our Nutrition Department programs with a team of staff, volunteers, and interns to deliver robust nutrition outreach and education programs. Seeking experienced manager with excellent efficiency, communication, and client-facing skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in Massachusetts.
• Ability to work effectively and communicate in written, verbal, presentation and listening formats within a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, influence and control functional operations.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other departments in order to meet functional responsibilities to clients
• Pass CORI and driving record check

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dietitian in a high-volume production establishment a plus
• Familiarity with federal feeding programs (CACFP, FVP, SFSP, NSLP, Senior Meals)
• Sound knowledge of safety and food sanitation standards.
• Experience preparing a variety of medically tailored diets
• Enthusiasm for local and culturally responsive foods
• Demonstrated record of respect, compassion and trustworthiness.
