Salary Range:
$57,500 - $60,000

Position Description

Project Bread receives referrals for individuals who are food insecure and have a complex medical condition. The Nutrition Services Coordinator will respond to referrals and develop service plans customized to meet the individual needs of each client so that they can access the healthy foods needed to best manage their health conditions. Service plans may include cooking classes, nutrition counseling, transportation assistance, grocery gift cards, and kitchen supplies and appliances.

Minimum Qualifications

Registered or licensed dietitian
1+ year experience providing counseling in a community or clinical setting
1+ year experience providing direct service to a low-income population
Attention to detail/ strong record keeping
Patience and empathy
Desire to be part of a supportive, mission driven team
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Desired Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, Haitian Creole or Arabic
Expertise in diabetes education
Familiarity with Salesforce
Familiarity with social support programs in Massachusetts.
