Position Description

Diet clerk: Full Time Position with Benefits (35-40hrs/week) at Tewksbury Hospital, Tewksbury, MA.
Typical schedule: 11.30-6pm (Tue, Wed, Thurs)
7-5pm (Friday)
7-3.30pm (Saturday)
Candidates willing to do partial schedules will also be considered as Part time.
Position Summary: The Diet clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating computerized diet files on hospital patients, preparation and processing of patient menus and tray tickets, running computer reports, reviewing computerized reports and making necessary changes in patients profile in GeriMenu.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates with an associate or BS degree in Nutrition or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Nutrition program and/or has completed a Diet Technician program. Basic computer skills a must.

Desired Qualifications

Prior diet clerk work experience a plus but not required. Will also consider candidates with a minimum associate degree in other disciplines with strong computer skills, interest in Nutrition and willingness to learn.
