Depends on experience
Seeking 1 LDN for Auburn & 1 for Springfield area to:
1. Counsel/Coach patients 1 day a week with the opportunity for expansion if desired. Through 12-15-21, working from home using Telehealth.
2. Build trust, listen to patients needs, educate based on science, communicate effectively, use motivational interviewing to assist the client in setting reachable goals & have fun.
3. Document using ADIME. Communicate with referring physician.
4. Use our web-based scheduling and billing program.
In our private practice, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, be an LDN in Massachusetts, and have experience counseling & coaching clients with the most common diagnoses - obesity, diabetes, lipid disorders, & hypertension. Clients may also be referred for renal disease, GI disorders, eating disorders, sports nutrition, and general "healthy eating". We will get you credentialed with the health insurance companies. Skills should include the ability to listen well, assess the patients needs, communicate options for science- based nutrition and behavior adjustments in a manner that the patient can understand, & use motivational interviewing to help set goals. The LDN needs to be enthusiastic, motivating, use the Nutrition Care Process & love the job. It is also desirable to be a Certified Diabetes Educator but not required.
