Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with ADA-approved emphasis in science/education
• Registered Dietician
• Maintenance of required CEUs of 75 credits per 5-year period
• Approved Dietetic Internship or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience in areas of clinical, educational and oncological dietetics preferred

Desired Qualifications

Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital is seeking a Nutritionist to provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling services for oncology patients and their families. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual or group sessions to educate and facilitate maximum nutritional compliance
• Interviewing patients and their families and reviewing information from medical records
• Developing a nutrition care plan
• Documenting and communication nutrition care plan
• Assisting in the development of educational materials and resources
• Serving as a nutrition consultant
• Participating as a team member in conferences/rounds
• Interpreting pertinent current research related to nutritional care
• Participating in select quality management programs
