Position Description

MND is seeking a MS-level research technician to participate in execution of randomized controlled trials that examine nutrition, exercise, dietary supplements, and pharmacological interventions for Warfighters exposed to military operational stress. The incumbent will receive hands-on experience collecting data from exercise testing, indirect calorimetry, stable isotope methodologies, and biological samples. The candidate will receive experience analyzing and interpreting data for publication.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should have a MS degree in the nutritional sciences, exercise physiology, or a closely related field. Demonstrated proficiency with written and oral communication, and exemplary organizational skills required. Experience with collecting data related to nutrition- and exercise-based interventions with human populations preferred. The fellowship will be administered by the Oak Ridge Institute for Science & Education and may be renewed for up to 5 years. US Citizenship & travel required.
