Date, time for this virtual event: Wed, June 9th, 2021: 6:30-8:00 pm CEUs: 1.5 Title: The Gut-Brain Connection Speaker: Erin Kenney, MS, RD, HCP, is a Registered Dietitian, Holistic Cannabis Practitioner, and CEO of Nutrition Rewired, a Boston-based company providing nutrition counseling and meal planning to help individuals achieve optimal physical and mental health and wellbeing. She specializes in gastrointestinal issues, eating disorders, and mental health and addiction. Her passion stems from her own personal journey with gastrointestinal disorders and getting to the root cause through an integrated nutrition approach. Description: This session will provide an overview of how the gut and brain are inextricably linked and the important role of nutrition in achieving optimal mental and physical wellbeing. It will include evidence-based tips and a review of nutrients of concern related to the gut-brain connection. Erin will also share her experience using CBD as a tool to improve gastrointestinal and mental health symptoms in her private practice.
