Western Area Massachusetts Dietetic Association (WAMDA), outgoing Public Policy Chair, current Nominating Committee June 2009-June 2010.
WAMDA’s Annual Fitness 5K and Health Fair planning committee.
MDA district liaison for Public Policy Panel Congressional District #1.
Media appearances as opportunities have arisen to discuss any pertinent nutrition topics.
Lecture every spring to a middle school class in Springfield on the basics of nutrition. 
 

What do you want to accomplish

As State Policy Representative Elect, I hope to become familiar with the skills and resources that are needed to be an effective State Policy Chair for the year 2011. I would also like to have a better understanding on legislation and policy in general and its connection to nutrition and dietetics.
