What do you want to accomplish "After the past few years working as the
Director-elect and Director of Education I have come to understand the
importance of communication and bringing together the MDA board with our local District Dietetic Associations, Dietetic Practice
Groups and Special interest groups. I have also learned what great talents we
have in the field of nutrition in the state of Massachusetts. My hopes as the Liaison-elect, Council on
Practice & Areas is to help continue to strengthen the lines of
communication with our local District Dietetic
Associations, Dietetic Practice Groups and Special interest groups with
the Massachusetts Dietetic Association. This improvement will help our
membership reinforce their role as the innovative and cutting edge leaders in
the field of nutrition. Each group brings many talents to the tables and if we
can combine our strengths we will have a great capacity to assist each other in our legislative actions, educational programming and
strengthening our memberships in both numbers and aptitude."
