What do you want to accomplish
As a volunteer for the MDA Board over the past two years, I’ve enjoyed using my professional skills in providing members with our reformatted, reader-friendly, seasonal newsletter— Today@MDA. As Director- Elect of Career Pathways and Awards, I hope to serve our membership even further. I believe giving back to the dietetic profession, and the organizations serving it, is crucial for ensuring registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered are regarded as the nutrition experts of Massachusetts. If chosen to serve as Director- Elect of Career Pathways and Awards, I look forward to the opportunity in guiding future and current members toward their roles as community leaders with professional recruitment, mentoring, member scholarships and awards, as well as regular contact with the state’s student dietetic association.
