Director, Career Pathways and Awards

Responsible for coordinating mentoring to students seeking to become members of our profession and to MDA members throughout their career. Oversees the SPRC, the Scholarships and Awards Committee and the Mentoring Committees and represents and directs these to the MDA Board.

What do you want to accomplish

As a recent graduate, I am well aware of the concerns of current dietetics students and can guide them towards their career path. Mentoring and networking is important for both current and future dietitians, therefore I want to expand MDA’s current programs including Socials for Success to involve more members. I hope that by becoming a board member, I can give back to my profession as it has already given me so much.
